How we handle your email

The Updates signup collects an email address and the areas you check (Fairbanks, Anchorage, Mat-Su, Statewide) so we can send a weekly note on what’s happening around town — who’s open, who’s at the pads, new listings. That is the only reason we ask for them.

We do not sell subscriber addresses. We do not use the list for a single vendor’s marketing. Unsubscribe anytime from a message, or email us and we will take you off.

The signup request’s IP address is sent with that subscription to our email service so it can tell a real visitor from this site’s servers. We do not store the IP address with the subscriber record.

Browsing the directory does not require an account. Vendor check-in tools are for operators, not the public signup.
